Freedom Bay is nestled in a verdant 60 acres that are listed within a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The lush hillside location lies at the foothills of the Pitons near Malgretoute on the west coast of the island rolling down to its own bay with a white sandy beach.
The entire UNESCO site covers some 2,900 Hectares which includes the dramatic volcanic spires of the Pitons, the most prominent landmarks on the island. It also contains an 11km long coastal strip, 60% of which is covered by coral reefs.
Designated nature reserves are maintained around the resort whilst the ocean frontage is also protected, and to safeguard the coral, anchoring is not allowed. The properties will be built whilst minimising any disruption to the surrounding wildlife and vegetation.
The stunning location will allow total appreciation of this enchanting natural habitat. Within the resort grounds are a picturesque waterfall, a warm therapeutic mineral bath and colourful indigenous trees that encourage native birds. The serenity and magic of the rainforest can be explored through the tour trails, or a hike up the Pitons will reward you with captivating views and a true back-to-nature experience.
Witness the natural phenomenon of mineral water pools bubbling up at the Sulphur Springs, be captivated by the giant leatherback turtles on Grand Anse Beach or dive deep into the crystal clear Caribbean Sea to marvel at the coral reef in all its colour and glory. Freedom Bay provides nature lovers with the ultimate escape.
